Until now, electric cars have typically been compact and low-range. Not anymore! MG5 EV offers huge amounts of space and 214 miles of electric range*. Featuring rapid charging capability, MG5 EV can charge to 80% in just 50 minutes from a 50kW charging point.

Packaged in a highly practical body style, MG5 EV offers a boot volume of 578 litres to the roof. This rises to 1,456 litres with the rear seats folded down and loaded to the roof. Inside the cabin, there’s plenty of room for five people to travel in comfort.

Design The MG5 EV is a purposeful estate. It sits on 16” alloy wheels with tinted rear windows and roof bars giving it a utilitarian look. Inside, there’s a 7”colour driver’s display and an 8” touchscreen with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto.
Drive Thanks to Eco, Normal and Sport drive profiles, you can tune the way your MG5 EV responds on the road. It can be great fun with instant access to 154bhp and 260Nm of torque, and it’s more refined and smoother than any petrol car.
Practicality The MG5 EV has a long wheelbase to maximise rear legroom. It’s fantastic for growing families and packs an impressive 578-litres of boot space. The charge port is located behind the front badge and the charge cable is stored in the boot.
Living with it The MG5 EV charges from <10 to 80% in 50 minutes at a 50kW charge station (these are the commonest fast charge stations). If you have a normal wall box charger at home, a 7.5 kWh charger will give you a 100% charge in approx. 7.5 hours.
